How it works
Every formula is on the page that uses it. The pace table, converter, nutrition planner and predictor explain exactly what they calculate and where the method stops being reliable. The calculation code is plain, unit-tested TypeScript, with no hidden adjustments.
Every race fact has a source. Official figures are preferred over second-hand ones, and anything we can't verify is marked “Unverified” rather than guessed. Comparison verdicts are generated from those numbers, so they never claim more than the data shows.
No accounts, and analytics only if you agree. Your inputs stay in your browser. See the privacy policy for the details.
Not medical advice
The nutrition and prediction tools give general estimates for healthy adults. They are not a substitute for advice from a doctor, a registered dietitian or a coach who knows you.
Found a mistake?
If a number looks wrong, or a spec or race rule has changed, email hello@zone2pace.run with the page and, ideally, a source. Corrections are made quickly and noted in the data.
How the site is funded
Some pages may include affiliate links. They never change the numbers, the order of results or the verdicts. The affiliate disclosure explains how it works.
