What the tools do with your inputs
All calculations run in your browser. Race times, paces and nutrition inputs are never sent to us. When you use a tool, your inputs are written into the page address (the part after ?) so you can bookmark or share the result. That link only goes anywhere if you choose to share it.
What's stored on your device
A few items in your browser's local storage: kilometres or miles (units), light or dark theme (theme), your language if you pick one (lang) and your analytics choice (consent). They never leave your device and only exist so the site remembers what you chose. You can clear them at any time from your browser settings.
Analytics
If you accept in the banner, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, the type of page, and a few events such as which tool you used, when you switched units or theme, copied a share link, filtered the race calendar, explored a course map or clicked an official race website or an affiliate link. Google sets its own cookies (_ga, _ga_*, kept up to 13 months) to count returning visits.
- Nothing is loaded or sent before you accept, and nothing at all if you refuse.
- No advertising features, no ad personalisation and no data shared for ads (Consent Mode keeps them denied).
- We never send what you type into the tools (times, paces, distances) to Google.
- You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.
Google processes this data as our processor and may transfer it outside the EU under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)).
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect against abuse, under its own privacy policy. We don't have access to individual visitor logs.
Links to other sites
Race pages link to official race websites, and some pages may link to retailers. Once you leave this site, the other site's privacy policy applies, and a retailer may set its own cookies, for example to credit an affiliate referral.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for access to, correction or deletion of data about you, and withdraw your consent at any time (“Cookie settings”, then “Refuse”). We hold no personal data ourselves; analytics data sits in Google Analytics, where it is pseudonymous and kept for 14 months. Ask us any time: hello@zone2pace.run. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top will change with it. Last updated September 28, 2026.
